The total volume of transactions on the Uzbek Currency Exchange reached 64 billion US dollars

At the end of 2022, the total volume of operations at the Currency Exchange of the Republic of Uzbekistan (UzSE) reached a record level of 706.79 trillion soums (64 billion US dollars), having increased by 81.60 per cent compared to the corresponding figure of the previous year.

Spot operations of the UzSE for the exchange of US dollars, euros, Russian roubles and Chinese yuan are carried out on the UzSE-developed Rombus platform using modern "collective auction" and bilateral continuous auction methods.

By the end of 2022, the total volume of trading in the exchange currency market amounted to 338.34 trillion soums, having increased by 1.5 times compared to the corresponding figure of the previous year.
