The United States has sent proposals on the nuclear deal to Iran

According to the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasir Kanoni Chafi, Tehran has received a response from the United States regarding the nuclear agreement.

"The Iranian side received an answer from the US about returning to the nuclear agreement through the EU coordinator. "We have begun to carefully study the American proposals and we will express our opinion about it to the coordinator," said the diplomat.

For reference: In 2015, the "Joint Action Plan on Cooperation" was signed between Iran and the USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Russia and China. According to him, Tehran should abandon the development of nuclear weapons, and the West should cancel economic sanctions. But in 2018, the United States withdrew from this agreement.

When Joseph Biden became the president of the USA, he took the initiative to restore the agreement. Starting in 2021, eight rounds of negotiations were held in Vienna. On March 11, the parties took a break due to external factors. The main reason for this is Russia's military operation in Ukraine. Until then, the negotiations had reached the final stage and were supposed to be completed at the end of February. In recent months, negotiations on the nuclear agreement, mediated by Europe, have intensified.
