The United States will allocate 3 million COVID-19 vaccines to Uzbekistan free of charge

On July 29, 3 million Moderna vaccines against coronavirus will arrive in Uzbekistan from the United States through the COVAX program.

The coronavirus vaccine developed by Moderna provides 90% protection against infection and, according to clinical trials, has similar effectiveness in all age groups over 18 years.

For reference, clinical trials involving about 30,000 people were conducted on the Moderna vaccine in the United States. The number of cases of coronavirus was minimal, while there were no cases of severe COVID-19 in the group of vaccinated people.
