The VII International Sports Games «Children of Asia-2022» are being held in Vladivostok

Today in Vladivostok, the VII International Sports Games "Children of Asia-2022" among teenagers aged 14 to 16 years have started and will continue until August 8.

According to information, teams from 14 countries are participating in the competition. The total number of participants is about two thousand. Medals are expected to be presented in 19 sports: badminton, basketball, boxing, volleyball, judo, athletics, wrestling, swimming, sambo, freestyle wrestling, futsal and other sports.

Also, a torch with the flame of the "Children of Asia-2022" games will be carried through Vladivostok.

P.S. "Children of Asia" international sports games have been held every four years since 1996 under the auspices of the International Olympic Committee, covering the entire Asian continent, as well as some European countries.

The games were organized by the initiative of the first president of the Republic of Sakha, Mikhail Nikolayev, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the modern Olympic movement.
