The volume of gold-exchange reserves of our country makes 33,4 billion US dollars

According to the press service of the Central Bank, the official reserve assets of Uzbekistan and other assets in foreign currency increased by 1.1 billion dollars to 33.4 billion dollars on December 1.

According to him, the foreign currency part of the reserves began to decline sharply again after a slight increase in April. In particular, the decline compared to November was $357 million. Currently, reserve assets in foreign currency amount to $9.932 billion.

Gold reserves increased to $22.46 billion from $21 billion in November.

It is also noted that Uzbekistan's gross international reserves have decreased by $1.70 billion or 4.83% since the beginning of 2022. The impact of the drop in the price of gold from $1799.25 to $1759.65 at the beginning of the year was $0.51 billion.
