The work of the deputy akims will be evaluated on the basis of KPI

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on the introduction of the procedure for evaluating the activities of deputy Ministers of Karakalpakstan and deputy khokims of the regions and the city of Tashkent on the basis of key performance indicators (KPIs).

The standard provisions on the functional responsibilities and the most important performance indicators of the deputy heads of local executive bodies were approved, including:
- main tasks and functions;
- rights, powers and personal responsibility;
- organization of activities and their evaluation;
- key performance indicators of the deputy heads of local khokimiyats.

Based on the standard provisions, the Khokimiyats of the regions and the city of Tashkent are instructed to:
- to approve the regulations on the functional duties of each deputy khokim by September 10, 2021;
- by October 1, 2021, to develop and approve regulations on the functional responsibilities of khokim advisers, including on the development of local industry, khokims of districts (cities) and their deputies.
