They will no longer issue a consumer loan in cash

The law signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on April 4 amended and supplemented the law “On Consumer Lending".

According to him, now, when using a financial consumer loan, the contract can be concluded before or after the entry into force of the contract on the purchase of goods (services) by the consumer.

Consumer lending is carried out by transferring funds by a bank or other credit institution to the bank account of the manufacturer or distributor (legal entity and individual) of consumer goods (services).

The issuance of a financial consumer loan in cash is not allowed.

The law comes into force from the date of its official publication.
