TIFC is a structural project of forming the global social environment of New Uzbekistan

A meeting of leading international experts, financiers and investors will be held in Tashkent on July 7-8 of this year at the Strategic Development Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of the session "Establishment of an international financial center in Tashkent: development model and main directions of activity" passed away. The experts shared their opinions and discussed what benefits and opportunities the Tashkent International Financial Center (TIFC) provides to the economy of Uzbekistan.
It is noted that the work on the establishment of TIFC involves the development of the domestic financial market, continuous integration with international infrastructure, development of specialization in the field of digital finance, a bridge between Islamic finance and traditional financial markets, and an increase in the volume of national financing.
Also, the financial sector participates or contributes to the achievement of 39 of the 100 national goals. It is involved in all seven areas of strategy. In addition, by 2026, the tasks of increasing the share of the private sector in GDP from 45% to 80%, completing the transformation processes in commercial banks with a state share, and increasing the share of the private sector in the assets of the banking system from 15% to 60% were also set.
According to the forecast of the International Monetary Fund, the Republic of Uzbekistan will be among the top 10 countries in terms of nominal growth of the gross domestic product in 2021-2026. Among them, it ranks fourth in terms of economy. This increases the attention of international investors to our country.
It should be noted that TIFC is a platform for multilateral financial communication and cooperation. Three targeted areas of cooperation for the center in Tashkent are being considered - within the Central Asian region, with Asian countries and Western countries.
In conclusion, it is worth noting that the establishment of the Central Committee is considered a structural project of the formation of the global social environment of New Uzbekistan. The International Financial Center in Tashkent serves as the most important tool for the rapid development of Uzbekistan by attracting additional investment to our country and developing new sectors of the economy. TIFC will strengthen the initiated reform programs, develop the financial sector and make the growth of the national economy more stable in the future by involving it in the reforms, which will serve as a positive foundation for the prosperous lifestyle of the citizens of Uzbekistan.
