In the morning of April 18, the air temperature dropped to -1 and -2 degrees in some regions of Uzbekistan. Erkin Abdulahatov, specialist of Uzgidromet, informed about this.

According to the expert, the temperature in Nurota district of Navoi region has dropped to -1 degree this morning. In a number of stations, the temperature on the soil surface has reached -3 degrees.

In many stations of the Khorezm region, the air temperature dropped to zero or slightly lower at night, and the temperature on the soil surface reached -2 ​​degrees.

"This means the phenomenon of "cold shock" in a weaker form," says Abdulahatov.

Also, there is a possibility that vine and tomato seedlings were hit by cold in the foothills of Nurota, Koshrabad and Forish districts, located at an altitude of 800-900 meters.
