Toshkent Park in Ashgabat

Toshkent Park is located in the historical centre of Ashgabat, on the site of the former Gunesh Park, on Makhtumkuli Street. This place is very picturesque, crowded and rich in greenery. The buildings of the Cabinet of Ministers, a circus and a drama theatre are located there.

Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, during his visit to Turkmenistan on 17 February 2021, informed him about the construction of the Toshkent park in Ashgabat. The next day, the newspaper Neytral Turkmaniston announced a tender for the design and construction of the park. The tenderer was the Hakimlig of Ashgabat.

Turkmenistan's budget allocated 21,150,000 manats (US $6.43m) for construction of the park. A landscape consisting of green plantings, flowerbeds and paths, over 20 objects as a miniature replica of the sights of the Uzbek capital was erected on an area of 28.6 thousand square meters.

Here you will meet Mustakillik Square, Alay Market, Tashkent TV Tower and many other Uzbek models and decorations. All in all, the park has all the ambience to make you feel as if you are walking around Tashkent.
