Tourism potential of Uzbekistan uniting nationality and modernity

As we have already informed, today, on November, 30th, in the National exhibition complex "Uzexpocentre" started the 27th Tashkent international tourism fair "Tourism on the Silk Road", organized by the Ministry of tourism and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, SUE "National PR-center" and "THE SAYS LOT" LTD.

The first day of the fair started with the official opening ceremony, which was opened by the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov. Hokim of the city of Tashkent Jahongir Artikhodjaev, the Ambassador of Tourism of Uzbekistan to Great Britain Sophie Ibbotson, the Head of the BBC World News Eurasia Commercial Service, General Producer of Dars Films Sergey Stanovkin and other officials also took part in the ceremony.

It is worth noting that the Tashkent International Tourism Fair "Tourism on the Silk Road"-2022 brought together over 300 representatives of the industry from 30 countries.

Within the limits of fair the gastronomic market where forums and sessions with participation of authoritative international and national experts, B2B-meetings, master-classes of the international cooks and also the fair-exhibition of the Uzbek craftsmen showing not only clothes, but also jewels with participation of the international and national designers, representing cultural heritage of our country are organized.

Also, guests of the event have opportunity to get acquainted with tourism potential of all regions of Uzbekistan in one pavilion.

In addition, TITF-2022 forum was attended by renowned experts in the field of tourism, in particular, the ambassadors of the tourism brand of Uzbekistan, representatives of BBC World News, Lonely Planet, associations of Central Asian countries and Russian tourism organizations, PR-specialists and others.
