Travel restriction concerning COVID-19 in Great Britain has been nullified for Uzbek citizens

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, citing the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in London, from January 10 this year, the United Kingdom will officially recognize the coronavirus vaccination certificates issued in Uzbekistan.

In this case, if the holder of the document has completed a full course of vaccination with one of the following drugs at least 14 days before arrival in the country, the vaccination certificate is recognized as valid:
- Covaxin
- Moderna
- Janssen (one dose)
- Novavax (Nuvakhovid and Covovax)
- Oxford/AstraZeneca
- Pfizer / BioNTech,
- Sinopharm Beijing,
- Sinovac-CoronaVac.

Recognition of the certificate will allow vaccinated Uzbek citizens to enter the UK without a PCR test for coronavirus and exempt them from the 10-day quarantine requirement.

Instead of a PCR test, one should only take an ELISA test (lateral flow test) on the second day after arrival.
