Turkish President received the members of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkish States

On February 11, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received members of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkish States. The meeting was held at the Vahdettin Palace in Istanbul.

The meeting was attended by Binali Yıldırım, Chairman of the Council of Elders, MP and, former Speaker of Grand National Assembly and Prime Minister of the Republic of Türkiye, Hasan Hasanov, Former Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ikram Adyrbek, Member of the Council of Senators of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Member of Public Council of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Medetkhan Sherimkulov, Former Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakhtiyor Sayfullayev, Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Youth, Culture and Sport.

Hasan Doğan, Chief of Cabinet of President of Turkiye, İbrahim Kalın, Spokesperson and Special Adviser to the President of Turkiye as well as Fahrettin Altun, Head of Media and Communications in the Turkish Presidency also participated in the meeting.

The sides also exchanged views on the decisions and outcomes of the last Istanbul Summit of the Organization and the agenda of first meeting of the newly appointed members of Council of Elders as well as the ongoing cooperation in the Turkic World in various areas.
