UEFA unveils first Champions League calendar

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has revealed the provisional calendar of the Champions League 2022/23 season on its website.

The preliminary round of the tournament will kick off on June 21, with the finals on June 24.

Games of the first qualifying round will be held on July 5-6 and 12-13, the second on July 19-20 and 26-27 and the third on August 2-3 and 9. Qualifying playoffs are scheduled for August 16-17 and 23-24.

Group stage matches will commence on September 6 and last until November 1-2. The 1/8 finals playoffs will befall from February 14 to March 15.

The quarterfinals will take place on April 11-12 and April 18-19, while semifinals will be organized May 9-10 and the return matches will be held May 16-17.

Finally, the final match of the tournament will begin on June 10, 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey.
