Ukraine's recovery will not do without the help of the West — The World Bank

It is necessary to allocate about $ 411 billion for the restoration of Ukraine, and this will not do without the help of Western Europe. This was stated by the head of the World Bank, David Malpas.
"The World Bank is ready to contribute to the restoration of Ukraine, destroyed by the Russian occupation, but the international financial institutions themselves cannot raise the necessary amount. Now we need the help of Western European countries," Malpas said.
On April 12, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will deliver a video message to the participants of the spring session of the IMF and the World Bank. It is expected that during the appeal he will ask for continued assistance to Ukraine.
