UN resolution on turning the Aral Sea region into a platform for launching innovative projects

Also, the priority tasks identified in the resolution are defined: transformation of the Aral Sea region from an environmental crisis zone into a zone of environmental innovations and technologies, improving the environmental, social, economic and demographic situation in the region, supporting research activities to improve the quality of the local environmental situation, protecting natural resources and improving the quality of life of the population.

It was instructed to organize the activities of 7 special working groups in each direction, consisting of heads and experts of ministries, departments and local authorities.
