Unclaimed luggage is stored at the airport for a maximum of 3 months

After baggage has been issued to passengers of a departing flight, unclaimed baggage is handed over to the relevant airport service for storage at the expense of the carrier who delivered it, and for searching for the owner of such baggage and arranging its delivery to the owner.
Unclaimed baggage brought by carriers is stored at the airport for not more than 3 months and destroyed by a relevant airport service.
Unclaimed baggage brought by foreign carriers is stored at the airport for not more than 7 days and is sent back on the flight of the delivering carrier.
