Under the investment program in Jizzakh 389 projects worth $688.3 million are being implemented

On October 13 this year the Government Commission on foreign trade, investments, development of local industry and technical regulation under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev and consisting of the heads of ministries, departments and commercial banks visited Jizzakh region to study the implementation of investment programs and increase the volume of regional exports.

During their visit to major investment projects members of the Government Commission visited enterprises of "World trading company" LLC, "Paxtakor teks" LLC, "Basalt wool" LLC, "ADM JIZZAX" LLC, "Farali textile", "Deya", "Jizzax kenteks" and other facilities, which produce a wide range of export-oriented products and create a lot of new jobs.

In the course of discussions with local entrepreneurs, both private and systemic problems were identified, and proposals were made to improve the business climate in our country. Responsible executives were given targeted tasks to take measures to address all the issues voiced and to develop constructive suggestions for further preparation of comprehensive solutions.

The same day a meeting on social and economic development of Jizzakh region, wide attraction of investments, timely implementation of projects, support for entrepreneurship and employment was held under the leadership of Jamshid Khodjaev.

During the meeting it was noted that 389 projects worth $688.3 mln will be implemented and 8,800 new jobs will be created within the investment program by the end of the year. Directions were given to managers responsible for taking necessary measures for quality and timely implementation of projects.
