U.S. donates special equipment to Uzbekistan's State Security Service Border Troops

On November 17 this year, U.S. Ambassador Jonathan Henick presented 225 pieces of FLIR thermal monocular equipment to the Uzbekistani State Security Service border guard forces. This surveillance equipment enhances the ability to detect illegal border crossings in low light and adverse weather conditions.

"Through this project, the United States has once again demonstrated its commitment to a secure and sovereign Uzbekistan," the U.S. Embassy in our country said in a statement.
