UWED will be transformed into «smart University»

The Presidential Decree ”On measures to systematically reform the activities of the University of world economy and diplomacy " was signed.

From the 2022/2023 academic year, the activities of the university will be transformed on the basis of the concept of a new generation higher educational institution – “Smart University”.

Academic activities at the University are organized on the basis of scientific and analytical orientation and educational technologies of academic integrity, as well as the software and hardware complex that provides them, including the implementation of the antiplagiat system.

Every year, at least 10 professors, doctoral students and undergraduates of the University are sent to leading educational institutions of foreign countries for scientific internships and professional development.

Until January 1, 2025, measures will be taken to include the University Journal in the International Scientific and technical database Scopus. The university is empowered to award academic titles to its professors and to recognize academic titles and academic degrees awarded on the basis of academic independence in their recruitment.
