Uzbek and Kazakh Ministers held talks

Abdulla Aripov, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, and Alikhan Smailov, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, engaged in discussion on bilateral cooperation in the framework of the Second Regional Summit on Sustainable Development Goals "Beyond COVID - for a just recovery in Central Asia."

In particular, ministers addressed the cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation, agriculture and transit, as well as water resources.

Reportedly, by the end of 2021, the volume of bilateral trade between the two countries boosted by 33% to $ 4.3 million US, and in the first 4 months of this year increased by 24.5% to $ 1.4 billion US.
