Uzbek citizens can stay in Tajikistan for up to 10 days without registering

Now Uzbek citizens can stay in Tajikistan without registration for up to 10 days. Prior to that, the period was three days. The relevant measures are envisaged in the protocol signed on March 28 in the Council of the Majlis of Tajikistan.

Citizens of one Party shall be exempted from the obligation to register and temporarily register with the competent authorities of the State of residence within 10 working days from the date of entry into the territory of the other Party.

It should be noted that from March 16, restrictions on land crossing points between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have been lifted for all persons.
