Uzbek Foreign Minister receives US Ambassador

Today, on January 4, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Jonathan David Henick.

It has been noted that the multidimensional Uzbek-American cooperation has been actively developing in recent years in political and security, trade and economic, humanitarian, cultural and humanitarian spheres. An intense dialogue has been built between the two nations' parliaments.

It has been noted that the two sides are willing to work together to comprehensively implement deals reached at the second meeting of Strategic Partnership Dialogue between Uzbekistan and the United States in December 2022.

The sides also exchanged views on the schedule of events to be organized at the bilateral level and within the C5+1 dialogue.
