Uzbek-Japanese relations – positive dynamics and great prospects for development

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.Umurzakov met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Yoshimasa Hayashi in Tokyo.
The dialogue was devoted to discussion of issues on further intensification and expansion of political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, as well as the current state of implementation of joint initiatives within the framework of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The substantive nature of the 8th Foreign Ministers' Meeting of the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue held this month.
The course of implementation of joint projects in the field of energy, agriculture, healthcare, private sector development and social support was reviewed, and mutually acceptable solutions were developed on all exisiting issues.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain a dialogue to promote political, economic, financial, technical and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
