Uzbek-Mongolian business forum

Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the Uzbek-Mongolian business forum on June 2, 2022. The forum was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan F. Siddikov, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan I. Jasimov, as well as representatives of the business community of Uzbekistan.

Mongolia was represented by Batsumber Munkhina, Deputy Foreign Minister of Mongolia, Otgondavaa Amartuvshin, President of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mongolian business circles.

The forum brought together about 50 business representatives from Uzbekistan and Mongolia. The main purpose of the event was to discuss the prospects of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as to intensify cooperation between the two countries to create additional opportunities for entrepreneurs.

The heads of delegations of the two countries noted that the Uzbek-Mongolian relations have been steadily expanding and strengthening over the past period. Cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres has intensified.

The guests familiarized with the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, as well as the ongoing innovations in the country on the active development of the private sector and increasing its role.

At the end of the event, the heads of delegations of the two countries called on the business community to actively cooperate and establish a constructive dialogue to develop new "growth points" of the bilateral economic partnership.

At the end of the forum, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries.
