Uzbek-Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry considered

On January 16 this year, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held negotiations with the Minister of Trade and Industry of this country Gan Kim Yong during the visit of Uzbek delegation to Singapore. The sides underscored the historic significance of the forthcoming state visit by Uzbekistan's President to Singapore.
"These days will give a powerful impetus to enhancing the partnership between the two countries in all areas, opening an entirely new chapter in the history of Uzbek-Singaporean relations," Kim Yong said.
"We want as many companies as possible to learn about Uzbekistan and its enormous potential. We are ready to provide continuous assistance in attracting new investors to your country. We can also be a bridge for Uzbek goods to markets of Southeast Asia and the entire Asia-Pacific region," - Minister of Trade and Industry of Singapore said.
Following the meeting, a signing ceremony was held. For instance, an intergovernmental memorandum on trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Singapore has been signed during the state visit. In addition, the sides agreed on a range of agreements enshrining the establishment of Uzbek-Singapore Chamber of Commerce and attracting Singapore's experience of business incubator development to Uzbekistan.
