Uzbekistan and Latvia are developing a roadmap for bilateral cooperation

On June 9, this year, the first meeting of the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov and the Minister of Communications of the Republic of Latvia Talis Linkaits took place in the video conference format.

The event was also attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Latvia Kadambay Sultanov, deputy heads of the relevant departments of the transport departments of the two countries.

The sides exchanged views on aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of transport and logistics, as well as cooperation on multimodal transport of export goods from Uzbekistan to the European direction, including using the Latvian infrastructure.

The schedule of upcoming contacts between the Ministries of Transport of Uzbekistan and Latvia was discussed.

As a result of the conference, the Ministers gave instructions on the development of the Uzbek-Latvian "Road Map" for the development of practical cooperation in the field of transport and logistics.
