Uzbekistan and South Korea can establish free trade

Another meeting of negotiating groups was held in the process of negotiating a free trade agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.
The meeting was held between the negotiating groups headed by Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Badriddin Abidov and General Director on free trade agreements of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea Yang Gi-Kok.
It is noted that during the talks the sides discussed the degree of liberalization of markets and the revision of the format of deals.
Also, the South Korean side supported Uzbekistan's active efforts in the process of accession to the WTO and expressed readiness to assist in conducting the 6th session of the working group on Uzbekistan's membership of the WTO.
Uzbek and Korean sides reached agreement on intensifying the work of expert groups to resolve issues related to the level of liberalization of markets and the format of concluding a free trade agreement.
