Uzbekistan has provided humanitarian support to Afghanistan

On June 11, 2021, an event was held in the city of Hairaton (Afghanistan) to issue 1,000 oxygen cylinders to the Afghan people affected by the third wave of the pandemic.

The Governor of Balkh province, Farhad Azimi, stressed that the assistance provided by Uzbekistan is an example of a truly fraternal attitude towards the people of Afghanistan.

It is worth noting that the residents of Hairaton expressed their sincere gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan, pointing out that Shavkat Mirziyoyev became the first leader who responded to the request for help.
