Uzbekistan has risen significantly in the international digitalisation ranking

Uzbekistan has risen 18 places to become one of the "highly/very highly developed" countries in 2022, according to the UN's E-Government Survey, which is conducted every two years.

The single portal for interactive government services saw a 1.2-fold increase and the mobile application saw a 1.5-fold increase, with a total of 11.5 million users since the beginning of the year.

Also in 2022, Uzbekistan has risen significantly in the international ranking of global digitalisation. In particular, according to the World Bank's Govtech Enablers index, our country has risen 65 positions in digital skills and innovation in public services compared to 2020. According to the GovTech Quality Index, our country has risen 37 positions in public services and is among the 'A' group of 198 leading countries in digital transformation.

In addition, Oxford Insights' analysis of the government readiness index for artificial intelligence shows that in 2022, our country has risen 14 positions out of 160 countries. Also, according to the ranking statistics, Uzbekistan ranked 158th out of 160 countries in 2019, 95th in 2020, 93rd in 2021 and 79th in 2022.

According to the Open Data Start analysis for 2022, Uzbekistan ranked fourth among 201 countries with 124 open data sources (1st place USA with 641 sources, 2nd place France with 381 sources, 3rd place Spain with 307 sources). In 2021, our republic ranked fifth with 99 sources.
