Uzbekistan imported the most electric cars from China last year

Uzbekistan imported 2,180 electric cars worth US $69.8m from abroad in 2022, according to the Statistics Agency. In terms of electric car imports, China led the way, with the UAE in second place and Germany in third.

Reportedly, imports of electric cars increased by 1,371 compared to the corresponding period of 2021.

Countries where Uzbekistan imported the most electric cars in 2022:

    China - 1,941;
    UAE - 111;
    Germany - 58;
    Hong Kong - 42;
    Lithuania - 10;
    Republic of Korea - 7;
    Other countries - 11 units.
