Uzbekistan Railways launches Almaty-Tashkent-Almaty high-speed train

According to the agreement between JSC "Uzbekistan Railways" and the National Company "Kazakhstan Railways" from May 2 this year on the route "Almaty-2-Tashkent-Almaty-2" per week three times 1/2 high-speed train service will be launched.

Trains from Tashkent-Central Railway Station to Kazakhstan run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. From Almaty-2 railway station, flights to Uzbekistan will be launched on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Earlier it was reported that the first regular passenger train 647/648 "Nukus-Beyneu-Nukus" was launched in Kazakhstan this year.
