Uzbekistan sends 170 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Turkiye

According to Turkish media reports, Uzbekistan has sent 170 tons of humanitarian aid to the areas affected by the earthquake in Turkiye.

It is reported that 45 tonnes of medicines, 8 tonnes of food, 90 tonnes of clothes, footwear, bed linen, hygiene products, 130 generators, as well as 700 electric heaters and other essential goods were delivered to various regions of Turkiye by 6 cargo planes and 7 trucks.

Volunteers of the Association for Culture, Research and Solidarity of Uzbekistan in Istanbul and a search and rescue team of 100 people from our country are working in the disaster zone. 71 Uzbek doctors are assisting the wounded in field hospitals.
