Uzbekistan takes cooperation with the United States in the fight against terrorism to a new level

A meeting was held in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, which was attended by employees of the Department of International Cooperation, the National Central Bureau of Interpol, the Main Directorate for Combating Terrorism and Extremism, as well as a delegation headed by Anna Eliza Cornacchio, senior Adviser to the Bureau for Combating Terrorism of the US State Department, where issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed.

During the meeting, issues of establishing international cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and the United States in topical areas were discussed.

In particular, a number of promising projects have been identified aimed at bringing cooperation in the fight against terrorism, human trafficking and cybercrime to a new level, and exchanging experience in these areas.
