Uzbekistan to host first-ever adult World Judo Championship

For the first time in the history of the country the World Judo Championship among adults will be held in the capital's Humo Arena Sports Palace.
Over eight days, the world's strongest judokas will compete for world championship medals, as well as valuable ranking points on the tatami of the Humo Arena.
Preparations for the championships are currently ongoing at a high level.
It is reported that the start of the qualifiers will be daily at 10.00 and the finals at 17.00.
The opening ceremony will take place on October 9.
