Uzbekistan took second place in the World Cup among chess teams

The national team of Uzbekistan took second place in the World Championship among teams in the FIDE direction of chess, which was held in Jerusalem, Israel. In the Final match, the Uzbeks defeated the national team of Azerbaijan, USA, Ukraine, India and competed with the poles until the final.
The competition was attended by 20 — year-old Nadirbek Yakubbaev (world rapid rating-2563), 16-year-old Javakhir Sindarov (2554), 27-year-old Jakhangir Vakhidov (2507), 20-year-old Shamsiddin Vakhidov (2471), 20-year-old Abdimalik Abdisalimov (2357) and 22-year-old Ortik Nigmatov (2333). Team leader Nadirbek Abdusattorov did not participate in the world championship.
In the Final match, Uzbeks competed with Chinese chess players. In the finals, which consisted of two parts, the members of the national team of Uzbekistan lost the opportunity to their opponents in 2.5−1.5 and 2.5−1.5 and took second place. The third place went to the Spanish national team, which defeated India.
P.S. in total, 12 teams took part in this championship: China, France, the Netherlands, the South African Republic, Spain, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, India, Israel, the USA and Poland in two groups. The championship is held in 5 laps for teams in the round system.
