Uzbekistan took the 86th place in the «Global Index of Peacefulness»

The Institute for Economics and Peace has announced the 2022 Global Peace Index. In it, Uzbekistan rose by 7 places and took the 86th place among 163 countries.
According to the report, Uzbekistan showed the biggest improvement in the "Russia and Eurasia" group - 1.5 percent.
Among the neighboring countries, Kazakhstan is in 97th place (-29), Kyrgyzstan is in 91st place (-21), Tajikistan is in 92nd place (+6), Turkmenistan is in 104th place (+ 5) is located.
The most peace-loving countries are Iceland, New Zealand and Ireland. Countries with the lowest index are: Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Russia and South Sudan.
In addition, China is on the 89th place, the USA is on the 129th place, India is on the 135th place, Turkiye is on the 145th place and Ukraine is on the 153rd place.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan rose 13 places in the 2021 "Global Peace Index" and took 90th place out of 163 countries.
