Uzbekistan - UAE: modern sewage treatment plants will be built

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Natural Resources with representatives of the Project Management and Advisory Board of Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services of the United Arab Emirates.

At the meeting with the responsible persons of the Department of Water, Land Resources and Subsoil Protection of the Ministry of Natural Resources, scientists of the Research Institute of Environmental and Environmental Technologies, representatives of the Interstate Commission on Sustainable Development, feasibility studies were discussed, which will be developed within the framework of the ongoing project for the construction of the Surum treatment plant.

As information, it should be noted the transfer of the Bektemir and Salar treatment facilities in the Tashkent city area outside the capital, the construction of a new modern wastewater treatment plant in the Kuichirchik district of the Tashkent region, the treatment of wastewater generated from the population and industrial enterprises of the Bektemir, Sergeli, Yakkasarai, Yangikhait districts to cover the services of wastewater networks. for the construction of wastewater networks, the project is under implementation.

At the meeting, representatives of Abu Dhabi Sewage Services agreed to conduct technical studies to determine water standards and effectively use the existing rich experience in the field of wastewater treatment standards, as well as the implementation of joint projects in this direction.
