Uzbekistan welcomed more than 5 million tourists in 2022

According to the statistical agency, 5.2 million foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January-December 2022. It is noted that the largest number of tourists during this period came from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

This figure has increased by 3.4 million people or 2.8 times compared to the same period last year.
