Uzbekistan will continue open and pragmatic foreign policy

Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that an open and pragmatic foreign policy based on mutual trust and respect will be persistently pursued in the current complicated conditions in the world.

It has been noted that Uzbekistan's foreign policy will continue to focus on the strengthening of multilateral and mutually beneficial cooperation with all Central Asian neighbours and strategic partners in the world, as well as international organizations.

The work on ensuring national security and raising the combat potential of the Armed Forces will be brought to a new level.

"We will not allow any radicalisation in our society, poisoning the minds of our youth with destructive alien ideas, the use of religion for political purposes, and ignorance to replace enlightenment," the President added.
