Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover exceeds $50 billion for the first time

Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover reached $50 billion at the end of January-December 2022, according to the Statistics Agency. This is US$7,837.9 million or 18.6% more than in 2021.
In this case, exports amount to $19.3 billion:
- goods - $11 billion;
- services - $4 billion;
- Gold - $4.3 billion;
Imports - $30.7 billion;
- Goods - $28.2 billion
- Services - $2.5 billion;
The balance is $11.4 billion, i.e., a passive foreign trade balance of $11 billion 390.2 million was recorded during the reporting period.
Uzbekistan has trade relations with 204 countries of the world. Relatively significant share of foreign trade turnover is Russian Federation - 18.6%, PRC - 17.8%, Kazakhstan - 9.2%, Turkey - 6.4%, Republic of Korea - 4.7%, Kyrgyz Republic - 2.5% and Germany - 2.3%.
