Visit of the Uzbek delegation led by Abdulaziz Kamilov to Kabul

On June 19, 2022, a delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Foreign Policy - Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov visited Kabul.

During the visit, separate talks were held with Afghan Deputy Prime Ministers Mullah Abdul Ghani Barodar and Abdusalom Hanafi.

The parties discussed prospects for further development and strengthening of trade and economic cooperation, as well as various infrastructure projects initiated by Uzbekistan in the field of energy and transport and communications in Afghanistan.

The Afghan side thanked the Uzbek leadership for its humanitarian assistance to the country, as well as for its efforts to restore the national economy.
