Visit of Delegation led by the Director General of the National Office of Innovation to Seoul

At the suggestion of Professor Rae Kwon Chung - environmental adviser to Mr. Ban Ki-moon, the eighth UN Secretary-General, members of the delegation led by the Director General of the National Office of Innovation under the Ministry of Innovation Development Olimjon Tuychiev went to Seoul on November 14.

During the visit, the Director General of the National Office of Innovation Olimjon Tuychiev presented the first issue of the magazine "Bright Uzbekistan" to the Nobel Prize laureate Professor Ray Kwon Chung.

The purpose of the visit is participation under invitation of Chairman of Global Robot Cluster Chang Ho Kim in "Global Robot Cluster Forum 2022", which will be held in Daegu on November 15-18 of this year, and discussion of the agreements reached during the "InnoWeek 2022" week of innovative ideas in October of this year, establishing new Center of Environmental Innovation in Uzbekistan and transfer of Korean technology.

For information, "Global Robot Cluster Forum" has been held by South Korea's Daegyeong Robot Enterprise Promotion Association and GRC (Global Robot Cluster) since 2021. DGRBF-2022 aims to introduce international exchanges for the development of the robotics industry and their implementation in member countries by analyzing new trends in robotics.

During the events organized within the forum, the members of the delegation will provide the participants with the information about the prospects of technology development in Uzbekistan, as well as about the ongoing work on the development of the innovation ecosystem in our country. Exhibitions, including technoparks, factories and the latest technologies will be visited.
