Vladimir Norov holds meeting with US Undersecretary of State

Uzbek Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov, attending the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, met with US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland.

During the meeting, the sides discussed development of the bilateral and regional agenda of the Uzbek-American strategic partnership. Nuland said the US officials support Uzbekistan's policy of reforms and openness. Nuland said Washington is willing to strengthen official cooperation with Uzbekistan on bilateral level and in C5+1 format.

The sides also exchanged views on the plan of upcoming events, development of trade and investment and cultural-humanitarian bonds.
