Vladimir Norov meets with our highly qualified compatriots working in the US

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov, on a visit to the US to participate in the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, met with our highly qualified compatriots working in leading banks, foundations, IT companies, prestigious universities and medical institutions of the United States of America.
Participants in the meeting included Oppenheimer Bank Managing Director Farhod Inogambaev, founder of Missed.com and Jafton.com IT companies Bobir Akilkhanov, New York Life Insurance employee Dilshod Rakhmonov, Ernst & Young consultant Kamal Mavlonov , founder of the development company "44 Oak Capital" Farhod Muradov, founder of the logistics company "Rx2go" Erkin Sattarov, doctoral student of Syracuse University Mirjahan Turdiyev, doctoral student of Harvard University, employee of the Dana Farber Institute Nilufar Kakhkharova, business manager of Amazon - Analyst engineer Shahlo Khodjaeva, Betaworks Ventures investor Zafar Mirzaliev, and founder of Poetica Coffee coffee chain Parviz Mukhamadkulov.
During the meeting, the participants presented information on the main priorities of the Uzbek government to support compatriots working abroad, conditions and advantages created for them to implement investment, educational, social-humanitarian and other projects in Uzbekistan.
Members of our diaspora voiced willingness to continue technical assistance to Uzbek emitters, including banks and private companies, as well as to organize meetings with institutional investors in Washington for representatives of the Uzbek financial sector.
There was also a ceremony to present a high award to Shakhlo Khojaeva, a business analysis engineer at Amazon, awarded the "Kelajak bunyodkori" medal by Presidential Decree.
