WBL: Ranking of the world's 500 most powerful brands

Research firm World Brand Lab (WBL) has published a ranking of the world's 500 most influential brands. While Apple was ranked number one, last year's leader Google took third place this year. Microsoft Corporation took the second spot in the ranking.
Eight places in the top ten most influential brands in the world according to data are occupied by American companies. The list includes Amazon, Walmart, Mcdonald's, Coca-Cola and Tesla.
There are a total of 33 countries in the ranking, with American brands leading the way. By a wide margin (198 out of 500), France, Japan, China and the United Kingdom are also in the top five. Also on the list are more than 10 brands from Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
