What global issues did Shavkat Mirziyoyev raise at Baku summit?

Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the Non-Aligned Movement Contact Group summit in Baku today. In his speech, the President of Uzbekistan raised several pressing issues on the global agenda.
1.Prevention of the consequences of global emergencies
"As analysis shows, in recent years mankind, in addition to combating pandemics, has also faced the devastating consequences of climate change, natural disasters and man-made catastrophes.
In this regard, Uzbekistan advocates further strengthening our activities on the basis of the Global Platform to achieve the main goals of the Sendai Framework until 2030." - declared the President.
To prevent the consequences of global emergencies, Shavkat Mirziyoyev suggested creating a special Monitoring and Research Network of the Non-Aligned Movement and locating this institute in Uzbekistan.
2.Solutions to conflicts in the Middle East region and Afghanistan
Mirziyoyev stressed that the United Nations and its specialized agencies should play a key role in systemic coordination and effective resolution of these problems at international level.
He also noted that in the process of reforming the UN, members of the Non-Aligned Movement should be granted a permanent seat in the Security Council.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed hope for upholding Uzbekistan's initiative to create an international negotiating group under the United Nations to coordinate an algorithm for resolving the Afghanistan issue by NAM members.
3.Mitigation of the ongoing economic crisis
"All of us directly feel the negative impact of the weakening of global trade ties and the disruption of industrial and logistics chains.
It is most unfortunate that in such a difficult environment, it is the developing countries that bear the brunt of this negative impact." - said the Head of State in his speech.
The President suggested organising NAM Economic Forums on a regular basis ahead of NAM Summits in order to address this issue and develop a "smart" economy.
4.support for young people
"The opportunities for young people to receive quality education and vocational training, medical services and sports are sharply decreasing. Particularly worrying is the declining confidence of the younger generation in their ability to occupy a decent place in life in the future." - Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
He added that last year Tashkent hosted the second global conference on education and upbringing of youth.
The president announced that next year Uzbekistan is planning to hold the "Summit of unlimited opportunities" of the Youth Network of Non-Aligned Movement in Samarkand.
