What has changed in privatizing state assets?

The State Assets Management Agency organized a press tour for the media.
After the state registration of land by the regional administrations of the Chamber of State Cadastres, district and city khokimiyats approve the allocation of land on the basis of property or lease, - said Ahror Fayziev, head of the regional department of the State Cadastre Chamber. When land is sold as property, the starting price is set by the tax authorities, the price for leased land is set by the State Assets Department and put up for auction. Significantly, the land was previously leased only.

If the master plan of the area is prepared at the auction of the land, the land will be sold as property, whilst the land in the area without the master plan will be sold only on a lease basis. The citizen wins an auction for leased land for business purposes, builds a building, but not the property itself. In this case, there are many questions about whether the lease will be canceled and the building will be demolished. In fact, ownership of vacant land is not granted, the entrepreneur who received the land will apply again after the construction of the building, and the land will be given to him/her on the basis of property rights.

Participants at the press tour got acquainted with the current state of sale of the buildings of the former silkworm feeding and consumer services in Jambay district through the land-auction electronic trading platform.

We won the place by participating in the auction on the project of RENT SERVICE GROUP LLC for the organization of exhibition pavilions. After more than two years of construction, the opening ceremony took place in March this year. To date, three major exhibitions have been organized. We are about to hold two more major exhibitions. There are 5,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space in our exhibition pavilion, and it is planned to build an additional 10,000 m2 of indoor pavilion in 2023-2025. At present, about 60 jobs have been created, and after the implementation of this project it is planned to create more than 100 jobs,” said Botir Ibragimov, Deputy Director for Financial Affairs.
