What is the essence of the Samarkand declaration?

As we reported, the leaders of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization signed the Samarkand Declaration, the main document of the summit, based on the results of the narrow and extended meetings.

Mainly:

The SCO defined the task of resolving the situation in Afghanistan in the short term as the most important factor in strengthening security;
The SCO states advocated the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and the continuation of nuclear disarmament;
SCO members emphasized the need to further strengthen international cooperation in the fight against the coronavirus;
The SCO advocates the formation of a just world order and a common vision of a society based solely on human destiny;
The SCO supports the view that the application of economic sanctions, with the exception of the UN Security Council, is incompatible with the principles of international law.
P.S. The next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO member states will be held in India in 2023.
