What sphere are women entrepreneurs most active in?

According to the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan as of January 1, 2022 there were 14 147 female business executives in trade, 10 057 in services and 5 543 in industry.

As of January 1, 2022, the net profit of small enterprises and micro-firms run by women executives in Uzbekistan amounted to 22.6 trillion soums.

In comparison with corresponding period of last year, the net profit of small enterprises and micro-firms under the management of women-heads makes up almost 7 trillion soums.

There are 36,472 small enterprises and microenterprises under the management of women executives.
